ABA Preschool Academy

ABA Preschool Academy is a specialist early years centre located in the Shankill and Tallaght areas, dedicated to providing a safe, caring and enjoyable environment for preschool‑aged children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental challenges. The academy’s mission is to promote independence and self‑confidence through a fun, play‑based approach, underpinned by Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). ABA is used not as a teaching method but as a framework for creating clear, achievable learning pathways that are continuously monitored and adapted to each child’s progress. The centre designs Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs, covering language, communication, social interaction, fine and gross motor skills, and play. These programmes aim to enhance speech, communication, and social skills while reducing behavioural difficulties, thereby improving the quality of life for both the child and their family. Parents are supported throughout the enrolment process, including assistance with applying for the Home Tuition Grant from the Department of Education and Skills. ABA Preschool Academy emphasises collaboration with families, offering a natural‑environment setting where children can develop independence and a sense of achievement. The facility provides a broad curriculum that integrates therapeutic support with early childhood education, ensuring that every child receives the personalised attention required to thrive.
