Acorn to Oak Childcare

Acorn to Oak Childcare is a full‑day care centre situated in the east Galway town of Portumna. It welcomes children from three months up to twelve years and operates from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., 51 weeks a year. The facility is organised into several age‑specific rooms – a Baby Room, a Wobbler Room, a Toddler Room, and two tiers of Junior and Senior Montessori classrooms – allowing each child to progress through a structured, developmentally appropriate environment. The centre places a strong emphasis on qualified staff, with all practitioners holding at least a QQI Level 5 qualification in childcare, and many possessing Level 6, Level 7 or a degree in Early Years Care and Education.
