BEL Childcare

BEL Childcare is a crèche and preschool situated in Douglas, Cork city, providing care for children from 15 months up to 5½ years. The centre offers full‑day care in bright, spacious classrooms that are equipped with developmentally appropriate toys, materials and equipment. A large, secure garden adjoining a wooded area gives children daily opportunities for outdoor play and sensory exploration in a safe environment. The programme follows a play‑based, emergent curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity and early literacy and numeracy skills. Children are exposed to Irish and other European languages through songs and games, and the curriculum is designed to develop decision‑making, teamwork, communication and fine‑motor control. BEL Childcare also supports families with developmental observations, nutritious meals prepared on site, and a range of government‑backed childcare schemes, fostering a strong partnership between parents and the centre.
