Benin Casa Montessori School

Benin Casa Montessori School is a family‑run Montessori centre situated in Ballyvelly, Tralee, Co. Kerry. It caters for children from 2 years 8 months up to 6 years of age and operates under the Montessori philosophy, promoting freedom within limits, self‑confidence and independence. The school is licensed by the Association of A.M.I. Montessori Teachers of Ireland (A.A.T.I.), accredited by the International Montessori Education Board (I.M.E.B.) and follows recognised Montessori teaching principles. The centre provides three fully resourced Montessori classrooms together with a range of outdoor learning spaces, including a sheltered outdoor classroom, a mud kitchen, a messy‑play area and a large garden where children can explore nature daily. These environments are designed to support a homely, nurturing atmosphere for children experiencing school for the first time. The school is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with its calendar aligned to the primary school year and holidays available on request.
