Busy Kids Creche

Busy Kids Creche, operated by Sonas Childcare Ltd, delivers a comprehensive early years programme across four locations in Ireland – Lucan, Athlone, Ballycummin (Limerick) and Ennis Road (Limerick). The centres employ over 110 qualified professionals, including Level 9 and Level 8 Early Childhood Educators, qualified childcare assistants and a full‑time chef who prepares fresh meals daily. Guided by the Aistear and Siolta curriculum frameworks, the programme integrates the four Aistear themes of Oral Language & Communication, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Mathematics, and Exploration & Thinking into everyday activities. Children engage in arts and crafts, cookery, science experiments, outdoor play, music and movement, fostering independence, creativity and social‑emotional growth. Each site is purpose‑built with separate, age‑appropriate rooms for babies, wobblers, toddlers, preschoolers and ECCE classes, as well as dedicated after‑school spaces. The Ballycummin and Ennis Road centres feature wheelchair‑accessible lifts, ensuring inclusive access. Busy Kids offers full‑time care for children from six months up to twelve years, including a free two‑year ECCE pre‑school placement before national school entry. The centres have received Excellence Ireland Quality Association accreditation and national quality awards, reflecting a strong commitment to high‑standard, nurturing childcare.
