Clare’s Little Stars Preschool & Afterschool Service, established in 2013, provides a safe, stimulating environment for children in Ballybofey and the surrounding towns of Stranorlar, Glenfin, Convoy and Killygordon. Housed in spacious premises on Glenfin Road, the centre is less than 500 yards from the Bank of Ireland and is fully insured, Garda‑vetted and operates under all Irish quality and regulatory frameworks (Tusla). The facility offers a rich array of indoor and outdoor resources, with carefully planned routines that encourage inquiry, exploration and social interaction. Staff are degree‑led, hold the required qualifications and undertake regular training to stay current with best practice in early years care. The centre runs a free Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme for children aged 2.8 – 6 years, available in morning (9:00‑12:00) or afternoon (12:20‑15:30) sessions and in both large and small group settings. For school‑age children (4‑12.5 years) the All Stars Afterschool Service operates from 9:00‑18:30, offering a flexible, play‑based programme of recreational activities that supports wellbeing and personal interests.
