Daydreams Childcare

Daydreams Childcare operates two purpose‑built centres in Limerick – one in Dooradoyle, Limerick City, and the other in Murroe, Co. Limerick. Both sites are child‑led environments designed to provide a safe, secure and stimulating setting for children. The centres feature large, well‑equipped indoor rooms tailored to different age groups, as well as expansive outdoor areas that are enclosed and fitted with a range of play equipment to encourage exploration, risk‑taking and physical activity. The service offers a full‑day care programme that complies with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016 and is inspected by Tusla. A balanced, nutritious menu is prepared by HACCP‑trained kitchen staff, and meals are served under supervision to promote healthy eating habits and social interaction. In addition to the core early years provision, Daydreams provides an after‑school service for older children, including homework support, arts and crafts, baking, gardening and exercise classes, together with a nutritious meal. Daydreams places a strong emphasis on the quality and development of its staff, all of whom are Garda‑vetted and senior members hold first‑aid certification. Ongoing training ensures that educators can deliver a flexible, documented curriculum that blends formal and informal learning experiences, supporting children’s social, personal and educational development in a caring, home‑like atmosphere.
