Footprints Early Years

Footprints Early Years Ltd, established in 2018, provides a range of early childhood services across three Dublin locations – Marrowbone, Newcastle and Inchicore. The centre follows a progressive, holistic philosophy that recognises each child as a unique individual, supporting their emotional, physical and cognitive development through a play‑based curriculum. Activities are varied and include drama, science experiments, arts and crafts, outdoor games, sports, reading and storytelling, all designed to spark curiosity and creativity. The preschool programme caters for children aged 2½ to 5 years, preparing them for primary school with a low teacher‑to‑child ratio of at least 2 educators for every 11 children. An after‑school care service is available for ages 5½ to 12, offering indoor and outdoor activities, homework support and group play. Seasonal camps (summer, Easter, Halloween and mid‑term) serve children from 2½ to 12 years, providing a blend of indoor and outdoor activities such as board games and sports. Footprints also implements the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) to ensure an inclusive environment for children with additional needs.
