Giggles Childcare Service

Giggles Childcare Service provides high‑quality early years care in a secure, homely environment across two sites in County Cork – Crossbarry and Passage West. The centre focuses on creating a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and happy, with dedicated spaces for different age groups. Toddlers from one year to two and a half years have their own areas, including a separate sleep room and a range of age‑appropriate toys and activities that encourage exploration and sensory development. The curriculum blends the Irish Aistear and Siolta frameworks with Montessori principles, offering a play‑based, child‑centred approach that promotes competence, confidence and self‑esteem. Daily routines include snack and lunch times, singing, messy play, art and crafts, story time and rest periods, ensuring a balanced mix of structured learning and free play. The centre also incorporates Montessori sessions throughout the day, allowing children to engage in practical, hands‑on learning in a carefully prepared environment.
