Greenfields Childcare

Greenfields Childcare is a non‑profit, community‑based early years centre that provides a supportive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment for children from 12 months up to primary school age. The setting is divided into age‑appropriate rooms – a safe Crèche for babies, a Toddler Room that encourages early independence, a Junior ECCE room (full‑time and part‑time) for children from 2.8 years, and a Senior ECCE room (full‑time and part‑time) that prepares 3.8‑year‑olds for school through advanced literacy, numeracy and social‑skill activities. All programmes follow a play‑based curriculum designed to nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence while meeting the developmental needs of each stage. In addition to its core early years provision, Greenfields runs a popular Afterschool Club for Junior infants to 6th class, offering homework support, creative projects and outdoor play from 13:30 to 17:30, Monday‑Friday. A Breakfast Club is also available for local primary pupils, with a collection service from nearby schools. Funded primarily by government schemes, any surplus is reinvested into facilities, equipment and learning resources, ensuring high‑quality care and education for over 100 children each day.
