Happy Days Creche

Happy Days Creche is a purpose‑built childcare centre situated in the Greenpark area of Walkinstown, Dublin, serving families from Walkinstown, Templeogue, Ballymount and the surrounding neighbourhoods. The facility offers a home‑from‑home atmosphere with cosy premises and a range of programmes for children from 12 months up to the end of fourth class. Full‑day care runs from 08:00 to 18:00, with additional half‑day, playgroup and after‑school sessions available, as well as specialised support for children with additional needs. The centre also provides a dedicated ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) programme for children aged 2½ to five years, and operates a care and collection service for Bishop Shanahan National School in Templeogue, including holiday excursions. The creche follows a child‑centred philosophy that balances free play with structured learning, drawing on the Aistear curriculum to guide development across language, social, physical and intellectual domains. Heuristic play with natural materials, independence‑focused activities and a strong partnership with parents underpin the service. Flexible part‑time spaces are offered where available, with a waiting list and sibling priority to support family continuity.
