Happy Years Childcare

Happy Years Childcare is a purpose‑built early years centre situated in The Green, Oldtown Mill, serving families in Celbridge and the wider County Kildare area. The centre provides a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment with a large outdoor area that includes a soft‑play zone, a construction space for creative building and an imaginative play area. These facilities are designed to encourage physical activity and social interaction while supporting each child’s unique interests. The centre follows an emerging, play‑based curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum Framework, offering learning opportunities that are planned around the children’s own curiosities. Staff are Garda‑vetted and hold FETAC/HETAC qualifications, ensuring a high standard of early learning. A dedicated LINC co‑ordinator works with the team to promote inclusion for all children, reinforcing the centre’s commitment to quality care and development. Opening hours for the pre‑school programme run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), providing flexible part‑day care for children aged from 2 years and 8 months onward.
