Hill Street Family Resource Centre

Hill Street Family Resource Centre is a community‑focused hub that aims to strengthen families by providing a range of early years and family‑support services. The centre believes that healthy, connected families are the heartbeat of the local area and offers children access to meaningful recreation, leisure, art and play opportunities. Its after‑school programme caters for children aged 4‑6, delivering a balanced curriculum of outdoor play, art and indoor activities designed to promote physical health and mental wellbeing while supporting ongoing development. For parents and caregivers, the centre runs a variety of parent‑and‑child or baby groups for families with children from birth to three years. These sessions create a welcoming space for socialising, learning about local family supports and receiving guidance from early childhood educators. In addition, Hill Street provides parent‑support education programmes and workshops, delivered either in group settings or one‑to‑one, to empower parents with the skills and confidence needed to nurture their children’s growth within a supportive community environment.
