About
Jonix Educational Services has been delivering specialised early years education for children on the autism spectrum since 2002, operating a network of centres across Dublin. The organisation runs small, highly structured pre‑school classes that accommodate a maximum of six children, ensuring a low child‑to‑staff ratio of 1:1. Each class is supported by a qualified Class Teacher and three Tutors, providing a total of four trained professionals per group. The curriculum blends play‑based learning with targeted language and social skills assessments, and incorporates the national early childhood frameworks Aistear and Siolta to promote holistic development.
The pre‑school programme runs on a part‑time schedule, typically from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (or 9:30 am to 1:30 pm), and is funded through the Home Tuition grant administered by the Department of Education until a mainstream school place becomes available. Jonix is registered and inspected by TUSLA and the Department of Education, and all staff are members of the Teaching Council, underscoring its commitment to high standards of care and education.
