Little Acorns Montessori Playschool

Little Acorns Montessori Playschool is a warm, nurturing early years setting that aims to develop the emotional, intellectual, physical and social capacities of each child. The centre follows the Montessori Method, offering a curriculum that encourages independence, confidence and a love of learning. Children are guided to choose their own work within a structured environment, fostering responsibility and self‑discipline while preparing them for a smooth transition to primary school. The classroom is organised into five Montessori areas – Sensorial, Practical Life, Language & Arts, Mathematics and Cultural Studies – each designed to move learners from concrete, hands‑on experiences to abstract understanding. Activities range from tactile and olfactory exploration to practical life skills, phonetics, geometry and cultural investigations.
