Little Smarties Montessori

Little Smarties Montessori is a privately‑run early years centre in Terenure that has been operating since 2008. It provides a warm, home‑like environment for children aged 2 years 6 months to 5 years, following the Montessori philosophy which recognises each child as an individual with an innate curiosity. The centre offers a range of quality programmes designed to meet physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs, with an emphasis on play, diversity and holistic development. In addition to its core Montessori preschool, Little Smarties runs a range of extended services. The Early Bird Club opens at 7:45 am to support busy families, while supervised after‑school study is delivered by qualified, Garda‑vetted teachers and includes the NCS (National Childcare Scheme) option. Children are safely chaperoned to nearby St Joseph’s BNS and Presentation NS for supervised care. Seasonal summer camps with thematic, hands‑on activities are also offered, providing further enrichment beyond the regular curriculum.
