Little Steps Montessori & Naíonra is a small, privately‑run, family‑owned preschool that opened its doors in December 2009. Situated in the Artane Castle Shopping Centre, Dublin 5, the centre welcomes children from the age of two years and six months. The school operates from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering a morning session (9:00 am‑12:00 pm) and an afternoon session (12:30 pm‑3:30 pm) each day, with additional hours available on request. Places are available under the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme and are subsidised through the National Childcare Scheme (NCS). The facility features purpose‑built classroom spaces and a secure outdoor play area designed specifically for preschoolers. Teaching follows a discovery‑ and play‑based approach rooted in Montessori principles, allowing each child to explore and learn at their own pace. The centre aims to nurture curiosity and independence, preparing children to enter primary school confident and capable. An inclusive environment and an open‑door policy encourage strong family involvement, fostering a close‑knit community of siblings, cousins, friends and neighbours over the years.
