Mellowes Childcare

Mellowes Adventure and Childcare Centre has been delivering award‑winning early years provision since 2004. The centre combines a colourful, creative environment with a purpose‑built adventure space to support children’s physical, emotional and cognitive development. Care is provided for “Wobblers” (ages 1‑2), toddlers (ages 2‑3) and children up to five years in Montessori and preschool programmes, all of which are aligned with the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) and the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) framework. The centre’s philosophy centres on learning through play, encouraging natural curiosity, social interaction and confidence‑building. The facility spans three fully fenced acres, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor activities that cater to school tours, crèche visits, scout and guide groups, birthday parties and family outings. On‑site kitchens and a coffee garden provide a range of hot meals, snacks and drinks for purchase, while external food is not permitted for hygiene reasons. Additional programmes include summer camps, holiday projects and specialised party platters, ensuring a varied and engaging experience for children and families alike.
