Naíonra Toddle Inn and Afterschool

Toddle Inn Childcare, established in 2000, operates from two sites in the Cork area – a purpose‑built centre in Castlejane Woods, Glanmire and a newer state‑of‑the‑art facility in Harpers Creek, Glounthaune. The Glanmire site houses three bright, spacious classrooms and a large outdoor play area, including a roofed outdoor classroom, while the Glounthaune site provides full‑time and sessional care for children aged 12 months to 6 years. The centre’s ethos centres on a safe, friendly environment that promotes independence, self‑esteem and positive social interaction through a child‑focused curriculum. The service offers a blend of Montessori and play‑based approaches, with a strong emphasis on child‑led learning. Sessions are delivered in Irish for the Naíonra classes at Gaelscoil Uí Drisceoil, and staff maintain high staff‑to‑child ratios to ensure personalised care. Daily communication with parents is facilitated via the TeachKloud app, providing updates on meals, sleep, activities and progress. All staff are Garda‑vetted, hold at least FETAC Level 5 qualifications, and many are trained as First Aid Responders, underscoring the centre’s commitment to safety and quality early years education.
