Newbury House Family Centre CLG

Newbury House Family Centre, established in 1986, is a community‑based organisation situated in the heart of Mayfield, Cork. It was created in response to the rapid growth of new homes and young families in the area and has since expanded to incorporate a range of services that support the social, economic and educational wellbeing of the local community. The centre operates a dedicated Childcare unit that welcomes children aged one to six years, providing both creche and preschool provision within a safe and nurturing environment. The childcare provision is complemented by a comprehensive suite of family support services, including counselling and therapy, aimed at strengthening families and promoting holistic development. In addition, the Mayfield Arts Centre delivers a variety of in‑house and outreach art programmes for all ages and abilities, fostering creativity and cultural engagement. Through community events, workshops, networking opportunities and volunteer programmes, Newbury House also works to build strong community connections and enhance the quality of life for residents throughout Mayfield and its surrounding areas.
