Once Upon A Time operates a network of childcare centres across Carrickmines, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin 2, Dundrum, Ballymount, Tallaght, Shankill, Cherrywood, Hollywood‑Rath, Hansfield and Citywest. The centres provide a full‑time timetable from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with closures only on public holidays and the festive season. Parents can monitor their child’s day through an online parent portal that delivers daily reports, and the open‑door policy encourages regular visits to the setting. The facilities are purpose‑built for children, featuring bright, colour‑rich interiors, a wide range of age‑appropriate toys and safe, secure outdoor areas with soft flooring and varied play equipment. Meals are supplied by the Little Dinners company and include breakfast, snacks, teas and hot meals, while essential supplies such as baby wipes, cotton wool and nappy bags are provided. Staff receive comprehensive training in first aid, HACCP, manual handling, health and safety, fire safety and child protection, and the centres are fully registered with the HSE and TUSLA. The centre’s educational philosophy centres on each child’s individuality, promoting physical, emotional and cognitive development in a caring, happy environment.
