Once Upon A Time provides high‑quality childcare across a network of centres in Carrickmines, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin 2, Dundrum, Ballymount, Tallaght, Shankill, Cherrywood, Hollywood‑Rath, Hansfield and Citywest. The service operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am until 6:30 pm, with closures on public holidays and the festive season. Each centre is purpose‑built for children, offering bright, colour‑rich indoor spaces, secure outdoor areas with soft flooring and a range of age‑appropriate toys and equipment. Meals are supplied by the Little Dinners company and include breakfast, snacks, teas and hot meals; additional provisions such as baby wipes, cotton wool and nappy bags are also provided. The organisation places a strong emphasis on the holistic development of each child, supporting physical, emotional and cognitive growth through a nurturing, child‑centred approach. Staff are highly qualified, receive regular training in first aid, HACCP, manual handling, health and safety, fire safety and child protection, and maintain open communication with parents via a dedicated parent portal. Once Upon A Time is fully registered with the HSE and TUSLA, participates in the ECCE pre‑school scheme and benefits from NCS funding, ensuring compliance with national standards and affordable, value‑for‑money care.
