Park Montessori

Park Montessori is a long‑standing early years centre founded in 1994 that follows the Montessori Method, providing a child‑centred approach to learning and development. Situated in Mount Eagle Park, Leopardstown Heights (D18 N265) and directly opposite the Glencairn Luas stop, the bright and airy building is designed to meet the care and educational needs of young children. The centre offers a calm indoor environment complemented by a purpose‑built natural garden that encourages exploration and hands‑on interaction with nature. The garden, created in 2013 by a professional designer, features a bamboo tunnel, gentle slopes, hiding places, tree trunks, stepping stones for balance, and a fruit forest with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, rhubarb, as well as apple and pear trees. This outdoor space is tailored to Ireland’s damp climate and supports sensory play, physical development, and curiosity‑driven learning. By integrating Montessori principles with a rich natural setting, Park Montessori aims to foster independence, confidence and a love of discovery in its children.
