Pathways Childcare Ltd. is an Early Years service based in Cork that provides high‑quality childcare in a safe, loving and inclusive environment. The centre offers a range of age‑appropriate rooms – seven custom‑made spaces allocated by age – where fully qualified staff support each child’s development at their own pace. The curriculum blends play‑based learning with the principles of Aistear, the Irish Early Childhood Curriculum Framework, and incorporates a Montessori approach to foster independence and choice. Parents receive daily feedback on their child’s progress, and the centre is committed to respecting the wellbeing, identity and belonging of every child. The facility operates from 8 am to 6 pm, 51 weeks a year, closing only for a week over Christmas, all Bank Holidays and Good Friday. It features large, bright rooms, a secure outdoor play area with safety surfacing and grass, and on‑site preparation of healthy, nutritious meals. Services include a full‑time crèche for children from four months, a two‑year free pre‑school session for eligible ECCE families, a Montessori programme, and a comprehensive after‑school programme (ages 5‑12) that provides outdoor and indoor activities, a hot meal and a homework club. The centre aims to be accessible to all members of the community regardless of race, gender, family status, age, disability or religious belief.
