Play Together

Play Together provides a flexible, high‑quality childcare solution for families in Carlow and the surrounding area. Their service is designed to be accessible and affordable, catering to children from two to twelve years of age. The centre emphasises a supportive environment that adapts to the varied needs of families, whether they require full‑time creche provision, part‑time Montessori sessions, or occasional holiday camps. The operation runs across three sites: the main Play Together Creche on Crossneen Manor, a Montessori and after‑school programme co‑located with Carlow Educate Together National School on Strawhall, and a dedicated Montessori preschool on Church Road, Graiguecullen. Each location offers age‑appropriate spaces and activities, with a particular focus on the Montessori approach for early learning and development. During school closures, the centre also organises school‑age and preschool camps to ensure continuity of care and learning. Play Together’s commitment to flexibility is reflected in its range of programmes, which include early childhood care and education (ECCE) for the 2025/26 academic year, after‑school care, and specialised camps. By providing a variety of options under one organisational umbrella, families can choose the most suitable arrangement for their child’s age, interests, and schedule.
