Rathfarnham Daycare

Rathfarnham Daycare is a purpose‑built early years centre situated in the heart of Rathfarnham village, Dublin 14. The facility welcomes children from six months up to ten years of age, offering full‑time care from 07:30 am to 06:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for 49 weeks a year. In addition to the full‑day programme, the centre provides ECCE‑only sessions from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm, a breakfast service and an Afterschool Club that includes homework supervision and a relaxed play area. Three large, secure outdoor play spaces with safety surfacing cater for both younger and older children, and meals are prepared on‑site each day using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The centre follows the HighScope curriculum, a play‑based, emergent‑interest approach that encourages children to explore, problem‑solve and develop fine and gross motor skills through meaningful play. Rathfarnham Daycare is a member of Early Childhood Ireland and is registered with Tusla. It offers funding through the ECCE and NCS schemes where eligibility criteria are met. No uniform is required; children wear comfortable clothing suitable for art, messy play and outdoor activities.
