Realt na Mara Preschool and Afterschool Club

Realt Na Mara Preschool and Afterschool Club is the first dedicated childcare service in County Louth, offering a welcoming environment for children aged three to thirteen. The centre operates from 8 am to 6 pm, seven days a week throughout the year, closing only for bank holidays, Good Friday and the Christmas week. With a capacity for 20 children, the facility aims to provide a safe, nurturing setting where each child’s individual needs can be met through personalised care plans. A key feature of the service is the provision of an Early Years Childhood and Education (ECCE) free preschool year, allowing families to benefit from a structured early learning programme at no cost. In addition to the core preschool provision, Realt Na Mara runs a range of supplementary services, including an after‑school club, a breakfast club for early arrivals, and a summer camp that offers enrichment activities during school holidays. These programmes are designed to support both children’s development and parents’ varying schedules. The centre encourages families to book via an online form, enabling staff to tailor the service to each child’s requirements.
