Réaltaí Beaga

Réaltaí Beaga is a Naíonra situated in Templeogue, Dublin 6W, offering early childhood education through full immersion in the Irish language. The centre welcomes children for the September 2026 intake and aims to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment where each child can develop at their own pace. Emphasis is placed on holistic growth – physical, social and intellectual – using play‑based learning and a supportive atmosphere that mirrors the love and care children receive at home. The centre participates in the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) scheme, running two three‑hour sessions each day, morning (08:30‑11:30) and afternoon (12:00‑15:00), five days a week for 38 weeks a year. Class sizes are capped at 22 children with a 7.3:1 adult‑to‑child ratio. Teaching follows the national Aistear curriculum, covering the four themes of identity, wellbeing, communication and exploration. An outdoor garden forms an extension of the classroom, encouraging creativity, fine‑ and gross‑motor skill development and a love of nature.
