The Diverseminds Academy

The Diverse Minds Academy offers a family‑orientated, inclusive early years and after‑school programme in Ireland. Since 2013 the Academy has run a year‑round after‑school youth club that provides flexible pick‑up from local schools and drop‑in options for children of mainstream education as well as those with additional needs. In 2024 the centre became a TUSLA‑registered preschool, welcoming children from 2 years and 8 months, with spaces currently available for the 2025/2026 intake. An autism‑specific, part‑time preschool is being developed to support up to twelve children with a formal autism diagnosis, reflecting the Academy’s commitment to neuro‑affirmative practice. Beyond childcare, the Academy delivers a suite of clinical services designed for neurodivergent individuals and their families. These include private and HSE‑linked paediatric occupational therapy assessments, clinical child psychology (including autism and ADHD assessments), and adult psychology services focused on ADHD and autism. The centre also runs seasonal kids camps covering art, science and outdoor adventure, further extending its educational and developmental opportunities.
