The Growing Tree 2

The Growing Tree provides a quality childcare service for children aged 2 years 6 months to 12 years in the Foxford area. Their mission is to create a safe, stimulating environment that supports the well‑being of toddlers, preschoolers and school‑age children. The centre follows an emerging, inquiry‑based curriculum that is underpinned by the Irish Early Childhood Education framework, encouraging children to learn through play, exploration and positive interaction with peers and families. The programme is organised around four thematic strands – Wellbeing, Identity and Belonging, Exploring and Thinking, and Communicating – each woven with language, literacy and numeracy learning. Staff use open‑ended materials and child‑led activities to develop confidence, resilience, problem‑solving and social skills. Emphasis is placed on supportive relationships, observation of each child’s interests and the provision of tailored resources to foster holistic development.
