The Montessori Story

The Montessori Story is a purpose‑built Montessori centre and playschool serving families in Navan and Kells, County Meath. It welcomes children aged 2½ to 6 years and offers a professional, caring and friendly environment where learning is driven by play. The centre is fully insured, registered with Tusla since September 2002 and participates in the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) scheme, providing a free preschool year for eligible children. Highly qualified staff deliver a Montessori‑based curriculum that encourages independence, curiosity and social development, while the spacious outdoor play area supports physical activity and exploration. Operating Monday to Friday from September to June, the centre provides flexible attendance options including full‑time (5 days) and part‑time (1‑4 days) placements. Sessions run from 09:00‑12:00 (morning) and 12:30‑15:30 (afternoon), with optional early drop‑off from 08:45 and an extended midday session (12:00‑12:30) available on demand for an additional fee. Seasonal camps – Easter, Halloween, Summer and a dedicated Summer Camp in July and August – are offered subject to demand, giving families extra enrichment opportunities outside the regular school year.
