The Toddle Inn

The Toddle Inn was founded in 2000 in Castlejane Woods, Glanmire, originally as a small home‑based Montessori preschool for eight children. It has since expanded into a purpose‑built centre with three bright, spacious classrooms and a large, well‑equipped outdoor play area that includes a roofed outdoor classroom. The centre offers a child‑focused curriculum that blends Montessori and play‑based approaches, encouraging independence, self‑esteem and positive social interaction through guided play and varied activities. In addition to its original Montessori provision, Toddle Inn now runs a dedicated Naíonra programme in Irish medium at Gaelscoil Uí Drisceoil, Dún Citil, providing sessional preschool care for children aged 2½‑5 years. A newly opened Toddle Inn Childcare service in Harpers Creek, Glounthaune delivers full‑time and sessional care for children from 12 months to six years, as well as after‑school care for Gaelscoil pupils. The centre prioritises safety, high staff‑to‑child ratios, Garda vetting, first‑aid training and regular communication with parents via the TeachKloud app.
