Tir Na nÓg Montessori School, founded in September 1983, operates from Copperfield House, 6 Clermont, Douglas Road, Cork. The centre follows the Montessori method, delivering a child‑centred curriculum that nurtures independence, confidence and respect for others. All teaching staff have completed recognised Montessori training, ensuring a professional and supportive learning environment for children from the age of two years and six months. The school offers a broad curriculum that includes practical life exercises, sensorial activities, music, mathematics, science, language, geography, nature exploration, a sports programme, arts and crafts, as well as ample patio and garden play areas. Classes are organised into morning Montessori sessions (08:00‑12:00), afternoon Montessori sessions (13:00‑16:00) and a day‑care provision (12:00‑18:00), providing flexible options for families. The facility is fully registered with Tusla and does not require children to be toilet‑trained, making it accessible for younger toddlers.
