Tots and Co Playschool

Tots and Co Playschool delivers quality early education to young children within their local community, focusing on play as the primary vehicle for learning. The centre provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment where each child is supported to reach their full learning potential. Core values such as responsibility, security, happiness, equality, nurture and respect underpin the daily programme, which aims to prepare children for the challenges of primary school and the wider world through a well‑structured curriculum. The curriculum is built around the Aistear and Siolta frameworks, offering a broad, sessional programme that follows topics of interest to the children. Sessions run Monday to Friday, with two daily slots from 08:30 am to 11:30 am, and the option for up to five hours of care per day when booked in advance. The play‑based approach promotes cognitive, physical, social and emotional development, encouraging children to explore, learn and develop wellbeing in a child‑friendly space. Tots and Co emphasises holistic wellbeing, ensuring children feel valued, respected and cared for. Positive interactions with families, carers and peers are encouraged to build resilience and confidence, allowing each child to make choices about their own learning and development. The centre’s focus on play, learning, exploration and wellbeing creates a nurturing environment that supports independent, confident learners.
