Whitefriars Childcare provides a warm, safe and inclusive environment for children from three months up to five years. The centre operates across two sites – Alexandra Walk and Cork Street – each offering age‑appropriate rooms that support developmental milestones through play‑based learning. The Baby Room (3‑14 months) focuses on tummy time and routine continuity, while the Wobbler Room (14‑23 months) provides sensory and motor activities. The Toddler Room (2‑3 years) includes interest areas such as construction, home corner, small world, library and quiet zones, and the Montessori classroom (3‑5 years) introduces early numeracy and self‑directed learning. The programme emphasises creativity, imagination and physical activity, with a range of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, physical games, role‑play, and messy sensory play. Whitefriars aims to build strong relationships with families, document each child’s learning journey and tailor support to individual needs, fostering social, emotional, cognitive and physical development under the guidance of qualified practitioners.
