Hollymount National School (Scoil Naomh Breandán, Cnoc an Cuilinn) is a Catholic, co‑educational primary school situated at the foot of Caherbarnagh Mountain in the parish of Knocknagree. It operates as a two‑teacher, mixed‑gender school catering for pupils from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class. The school places a strong emphasis on a nurturing, family‑like atmosphere where each child is regarded as a valued member of the community. History
Hollymount National School was originally built in 1870. The historic building was completely refurbished and extended in 2007, and the school recently marked its 150‑year anniversary, reflecting a long‑standing presence in the local community.
