Ballaghameehan National School is a small, co‑educational primary school situated in the rural parish of Ballaghameehan, North Leitrim, approximately 11 km from Manorhamilton. With a roll of around thirty pupils, the school operates with two full‑time teachers and two part‑time special‑education teachers, allowing for low pupil‑to‑teacher ratios and personalised attention. The school provides both a Junior Room and a Senior Room, catering for the full range of primary‑age children in a secure, well‑ordered environment.
