About
Salesian Secondary College is a voluntary, Catholic, co‑educational secondary school for pupils aged 12 to 19. It operates under the trusteeship of the Salesians of Don Bosco and embraces the founder’s educational pillars of Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. Set on nearly 500 acres of farmland in Pallaskenry, County Limerick, the college offers a tranquil rural environment while remaining within easy reach of Limerick City, providing a unique blend of country and city influences for its medium‑sized student body. The college delivers a comprehensive curriculum that spans the Junior Cycle, an optional Transition Year programme, and the Leaving Certificate, covering academic, practical and pastoral subjects. A committed team of teaching and support staff strive to make learning enjoyable yet challenging, fostering holistic development—intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical. Emphasis is placed on a caring, secure atmosphere where every pupil is encouraged to belong, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within a progressive, innovative educational setting.
