About

Clonturk Community College was established in September 2016 through a partnership between the City of Dublin Education and Training Board and Educate Together. It is a co‑educational, equality‑based secondary school that places the learning needs of its pupils at the centre of the curriculum. The college follows a learner‑centred, democratic ethos, encouraging active participation, dignity and respect. Its educational approach combines creative, participative teaching methods with a strong focus on personal, social, economic and cultural development, preparing students for life in the wider community. The college benefits from a modern campus shared with Plunket College, currently operating two temporary teaching blocks while plans for a permanent build are underway. Facilities include dedicated rooms for Home Economics, Woodwork and Computing, a music suite and a dedicated wellbeing space called “The Rise”. Extensive outdoor resources are available, such as two football pitches, astro‑turf pitches, an outdoor basketball court and access to local indoor basketball facilities. A rich programme of sporting, artistic and extra‑curricular activities complements the academic offering, providing a vibrant and well‑rounded experience for over 1 000 students.
