About

Ballinteer Educate Together National School is an equality‑based, co‑educational primary school situated in Parkvale, Balally, Dublin 16. Guided by the Educate Together ethos, the school delivers a learner‑centred curriculum that places the child at the heart of all decisions and promotes democratic participation among pupils, parents and staff. The school operates as a participatory democracy, ensuring that every child is treated with respect and given equal opportunities regardless of gender, cultural, religious or socio‑economic background. Since September 2022 the school has been housed in a purpose‑built, modern facility on a shared campus with St Tiernan’s Community School. The campus includes spacious classrooms for its two‑stream, 16‑class mainstream programme from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, as well as two dedicated autism classes. Supporting facilities comprise a well‑stocked library, a sports hall and playing fields, a garden area, and a range of after‑school clubs and activities. A vibrant student council and active PTA further enrich the community, fostering a warm, inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
