About
Scoil Eoin Naofa, Ballyclough is a co‑educational Catholic primary school situated in the tranquil countryside of Ballyclough, near Mallow in County Cork. The school provides a caring, happy and secure learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their individual talents alongside a strong moral foundation. Emphasising holistic development, the curriculum nurtures academic progress while fostering qualities such as kindness, honesty, hard work, respectfulness, inclusivity, cooperation and a Christian attitude. The school day is enriched by regular prayer, celebration of the sacraments and a whole‑school Mass on the first Friday of each month, reinforcing its Catholic ethos while remaining welcoming to pupils of other faith traditions. In addition to mainstream classes, Scoil Eoin Naofa offers two special classes designed to support diverse learning needs, ensuring every child can reach their full potential. The school works closely with the Board of Management, parents and the parish community to create a vibrant, colourful environment that promotes a positive attitude towards learning. Facilities are organised to support both academic and extracurricular activities, providing a well‑rounded experience for all pupils.
