Booterstown National School is a co‑educational national school situated on Cross Avenue in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. It operates under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin while welcoming children of all faiths and none, fostering an inclusive community. The school prides itself on a safe, welcoming and creative learning environment where pupils are placed at the centre of all activities. With a small roll, the school benefits from close‑knit relationships among students, families and staff, supporting personalised learning across four multi‑grade classrooms, two special‑education teachers and additional support assistants. The school benefits from high‑speed broadband connectivity provided through the Department of Education’s School Broadband Programme, part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan. A 2021 grant enabled the development of a fully equipped computer room, the acquisition of a multi‑pad charging unit for a full class set of iPads, new classroom laptops, educational software licences and a server cabinet. These digital resources enhance the curriculum and help bridge the digital divide for learners at risk of educational disadvantage, reinforcing the school’s commitment to modern, technology‑enhanced education.
