History
Broadmeadow Community National School opened its doors in September 2020, initially admitting Junior Infants to meet the rising population and housing development in the Swords area. The school takes a new intake of Junior Infants each year with the aim of establishing a full primary cycle. It operates under the patronage of the Minister for Education and Skills, with Dublin & Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board acting as the patron in waiting. The school is inter‑denominational, open to children of all faiths and none, and follows the Department of Education and Skills’ rules for primary schools, fostering an inclusive ethos that recognises and celebrates all religious and cultural backgrounds.
