Bunscoil Gleann Sidheáin (Cappoquin Primary School) is a Catholic, mixed‑gender primary school serving Junior Infants through 6th Class. Under the patronage of the Bishop of Waterford and Lismore, the school embraces a community‑focused ethos encapsulated in its motto “Ní neart go cur le chéile” – there is strength in unity. The curriculum is supported by modern technology, with interactive whiteboards and iPad access in each classroom, fostering a contemporary learning environment while maintaining a strong spiritual and moral foundation. History
Cappoquin Primary School opened its doors on 29 March 2004 and was officially blessed by Bishop William Lee on 14 May 2004. Since its establishment, the school has grown to accommodate 192 pupils on the 2024/25 roll, maintaining its commitment to providing a nurturing, inclusive education within the tranquil Glen area of Cappoquin, County Waterford.
