About
Cloverfield National School is a small, four‑teacher Catholic primary school situated in the parish of Kilteely‑Dromkeen in east Limerick. It provides co‑educational primary education for boys and girls from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, currently accommodating 42 pupils across eight classes. The school follows the Irish Primary School Curriculum within a friendly, secure environment, and places a strong emphasis on holistic development – addressing the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral, emotional and social needs of each child. The school’s Catholic ethos is complemented by a respectful acknowledgement of other faiths, and it actively promotes gender equity, a firm yet kind code of discipline, and the use of the Irish language where possible. A wide variety of extra‑curricular programmes and activities are offered, and an introductory morning for incoming Junior Infants helps families settle in. The school’s motto, *“Chun tosaigh le chéile”* (Together we move forward), reflects its commitment to community, parental involvement and the personal growth of both pupils and staff.
