Coill Dubh National School is a Roman Catholic primary school situated in Coill Dubh, Naas, County Kildare. Under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin, the school’s ethos is centred on the holistic development of each pupil – intellectually, physically, culturally, morally and spiritually – fostering a living relationship with God and with one another. The learning environment is described as safe, welcoming and happy, encouraging children to explore their unique talents and personalities while working in partnership with families to achieve each child’s full potential. The school provides a broad curriculum supported by a dedicated team of teachers, learning‑support staff and special‑needs assistants. With provision for mainstream classes, autism classes and a well‑resourced learning support unit, Coill Dubh N.S. caters for a diverse range of needs. Facilities include a school‑run café, access to schoolwear services and a range of extracurricular activities reflected in regular news, events and photo archives. Current enrolment is around 180 pupils, supported by a staff team of approximately 15 educators and support personnel.
