Coláiste de hÍde is a mixed, multi‑denominational community college situated in Tallaght, Dublin, operating under the patronage of the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board. The school delivers the full secondary curriculum through the medium of Irish, ensuring that both teaching and daily communication are conducted in the language. History
Coláiste de hÍde was founded in 1993 with the aim of providing an all‑Irish secondary education to the Tallaght area and its environs. Since its establishment, the school has operated as a multi‑denominational, Irish‑speaking institution under the patronage of the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board, continually delivering high‑quality education through the Irish language for over twenty‑five years.
