Coole National School is a rural, community‑focused primary school serving the surrounding villages. With an enrolment of approximately 155 pupils, the school aims to provide a balanced, all‑round development that nurtures social, academic, moral, spiritual, physical, artistic and emotional growth. The curriculum is underpinned by Christian values, which are woven into a robust academic programme that recognises individual differences, encourages personal responsibility and promotes self‑directed, lifelong learning. The school’s facilities include seven spacious mainstream classrooms, a dedicated learning‑support classroom, a principal’s office, a secretary’s office and a large assembly hall that was constructed through a successful local fundraising campaign. Additional provisions such as Coole Kids Afterschool Care, a STEM programme and a school garden further enrich the educational experience, offering pupils opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, mathematics and outdoor learning in a supportive environment.
