About

Culmullen National School is a rural Roman Catholic primary school situated in the heart of County Meath. The school’s educational philosophy embraces the holistic development of each pupil, aiming to nurture intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual growth. A strong emphasis is placed on providing a happy, safe and inclusive learning environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential through a balanced programme of academic and extracurricular activities. The school is well‑equipped with modern learning resources, including interactive whiteboards and flatscreens in every classroom and access to iPads and Chromebooks for all classes. Extensive sports facilities comprise a school hall, basketball courts, a football pitch, and a range of team sports such as Gaelic football, hurling, soccer, basketball, rounders, athletics and rugby. Additional amenities feature a library, a sensory room and garden, a STEM playground, and a newly purchased suite of equipment for PE, maths and science. A vibrant programme of initiatives—including Green Schools, Pride of Place, drama, choir, Zumba, tennis, stretching, and various clubs—further enriches the pupil experience and promotes community involvement.
