Donoughmore National School is a small, rural Church of Ireland primary school that welcomes children of all faiths and none. Set in the scenic Glen of Imaal, the school provides a caring, family‑like atmosphere where pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class learn together in two well‑equipped classrooms. The multi‑age setting encourages peer learning and fosters strong relationships across year groups, supporting the school’s ethos of equality, respect and holistic development. The campus boasts extensive outdoor facilities, including a basketball court, a playground with swings, slides and tunnels, and open fields for safe play. Two large parish halls are available for activities that require extra space, such as hip‑hop, gymnastics, GAA, and physical education, especially on rainy days.
